@Snyarhedir (But let me just say that without even having read the book or watched the movie, I know that it is a bad story. He essentially based it on what might have been just a rumor of a real soldier in a similar condition, and while he wrote it as an anti-war story (or so he wants us to think), it is a far better anti-medical story.)

Why don't you stop comparating VSQ with Apocalyptica??
Both are awesome!

@Snyarhedir Sorry. I forgot how long the song actually is. I did not really mean the finish; I meant the part that goes "Darkness.......left me with life in Hell".

@Snyarhedir After listening to it again, I halfway take it back--especially now that I have seen the official music video featuring clips from Dalton Trumbo's Johnny Got His Gun.

GAAH, why is it that Apocalyptica is the only group that does string covers of Metallica without SKIPPING NOTES!?!

I especially like the finish--it is reminiscent (spelling?) of music that you would hear in the Star _ franchises (Star Wars, Star Trek, and even Star Fox).

This is an excellent cover. I like it better than the original because the sound does not fit the darkness and tragedy of the lyrics.

ill give it a 3/10, is has no power, and make some vocal parts, but the ending was good
