NYTVF 2008: Today's Special

Connie Roche and Marlene Mapplethorpe are the top-selling hosts at Home Shopping Experience (HSE), a shop-at-home network serving New Hampshire and 3/8ths of Vermont. Their personalities and programs couldn't be more different. Marlene is as modern and sophisticated as Connie is crafty and cozy. When a powerful rival network appears, the women are faced with an ultimatum -- co-host or HSE goes under. Connie and Marlene struggle to find common ground on and off the air, while HSE's colorful production team more often hinders than helps their critical collaboration. Will they be able to save the network and their jobs?
