This is my tribute to Bruce Springsteen and his hometown of Freehold, NJ.
I am lucky to live only six miles away in the bordering town of Manalapan.

Is Freehold not the Graceland or Liverpool of New Jersey?

  • @alannadowd it was the camera angle/Photoshop LOL... nice job on that pic Andy :) its actually Elm street I believe. E street was the street in another Jersey shore area town that Vinnie lived on during the early days....they allegedly named the E street band because they always be sitting outside waiting for vinnie to come out and get in the car to got to gigs or recording....it was also allegedly one of the things about vinnie that drove Bruce crazy....he was always late to everything.

  • He lived on Randolph St too, the house no longer stands tho. Also, you forgot the little league fields, Bruce played on the 4th st field, Babe Ruth league. Go all the way down Center st, the last right is 4th st, the field is at the end of that street on the left, it is still being used when its little league season, the older kids play there 13/14 yr olds. I love Mario...LOL Funny!!

  • I loved this video, made my day. I grew up in Freehold and graduated from the high school there in 1977. Bruce lived down the street and around the corner from me....what a blast this was to watch! ;-) Thank You!!!!
