"Dealing with Pressure". That's the theme of this week's episode. So much pressure that some recruits want to give up.

  • Really we need instructional videos on how to get people through bootcamp now. If they cant make it on there own right off the bat they should be sent home. We have way to many shitbags already.

  • don't hold it against me ive trained the past 2 and a half years with 3 branches in my career feild, and my basic training from what i remember was alot more enduring than that..all they are doing is getting yelled at and u just grow numb to that shit after about 2 weeks. real training is an instructor who gives u enough rope to hang urself than shit comes at you like a ton of bricks.

  • @rivetjointful think what you want but thats a pussy answer right there

  • @pandabear558 in 3 years it won't matter what your parents say. You can try to convince them if you prefer, but you should just do what you want. Not saying you should forget about your parents but just do what you want. It's your life not anyones else's.

  • i respect the coast gaurd but... its still lower than the other 4 branches

  • @pandabear558 From an outsider, continue to have the talks with your mother. That will definately help. On the physical fitness, start NOW. Too many people get dropped just for that one thing alone.

  • @pandabear558 not everyone hears the calling.

  • @SmileyBeats974 Thats what the Marine Corps thinks of Army boot. .Its a vicious circle my friend lol

  • @pandabear558 Driving a car is dangerous, living in a city is dangerous, hiking in the woods, etc etc. Everything is dangerous, military especially. Be comforted that you (probably...) won't be doing ground work in Afghanistan like the Army or Marines. Also remember, it's in a mothers nature to worry and sway your choices out of harms way, so you don't have to blame her for her pressure against USCG; follow your own path and do what feels right to you, and that's it.

  • @nfltank55 obviously it helps you get a job, you get military discounts, good healthcare, college credits, good credit for loans and mortgages the benefits are limitless

  • @IIKeRsEyII either way im not a fan of how they do anythign in the forces now days. in the us. i read about old old century ago WORTH IT . us forces now is like mcdonalds compared to an exclusive important nice place to eat.
