  • The clay is called 308 Brooklyn red clay, probably developed by Jack Wolfe. This is sold at Ceramic Supplies.

  • You should make a bong

  • nice work!

  • I was taught to make plates with lots of undercutting.

Are you used to making plates on plaster bats? You don't have to undercut over and over if you use plaster bats.

  • are you at the fitton center? thats where i go to school. they have wheels just like that.

  • I have never heard of somebody having to under cut a plate like a million times.

  • I was also wondering how much clay you used for this platter? 10 lbs?

  • Great skills, how much clay do you need for a plate like this? 1.5 kilos?

    thanks

    Mara

  • Watching the potter was a treat. Listening to the background noise and the lack of planning for making the video was painful.
