question why can't my avi file open up into sony vegas 9? i always have to convert it to wmv file to view it in the timeline ! any help with that would be great bro!

@NoLaTvShow one question do you only get like the audio or the video that could be the case of you not having any codects like the xvid codecs that most avi files need just go on google and search for the codec pack it should be free.
