  • What happened to the rest of the moose? I hope you didn't leave it to rot.

  • @modelleg The meat is in the belly pod.

  • ? Why did the upper fuselage got covered lately ? Did you had a drag problem? How much weight did the covering and longeron had?

    Thanks and awesome plane btw.

  • @olibuilt We didn't have a drag problem but it was flying a little weird and all the tail that is covered is baggage area. It didn't add much weight it is around 1,050lbs on 35" bushwheels and 1,000lbs on skis.

  • why would you put the antlers on the wing support and not in the open tail section? I would think it would be less apt to come off or effect flight back there?

  • @HIllCarver

The struts are actually very strong and we fly many things on them. I have even seen pictures of people putting snowmobiles on them. Also on take off you want your weight up front and not in the tale.

  • You might be a redneck if...........

you have antlers tied to the support bars of your Piper Cub.

  • That got too close to being able to check your prop tracking with the river.

  • omg too funny,, ,nice moose rack

  • Pardon me, my good sir, but it would appear that you have done a low pass at similar level where mooses have their antlers...
