@eatdogshitforlunch yes there is, If you miss a payment or can't pay you are summoned to court. If you fail to appear you have a warrant issued for your arrest. If you do not pay you go to jail. This gives you a criminal record and you can't get a job - you can't eat.

pizztakers, they should be abolishing it. This is nothing less than a draconian tax that screws people out the best part of £100 a month. SCUMBAGS.

my council tax is more than my income tax - I know people would argue that if I can't afford it I should move to a less wealthy area than Richmond. That is the same as saying only rich people and people on benefits should be allowed to live in nice areas.
