  • As for idle video, there is no difference in engine noise or sounds from cams (no lumpy idle). As far as power gains, the increase in hp and torque was linear throughout the whole rpm range. According to Jeff Atwood (united motorsports owner and brains) his favorite cam setup for NA is the schrick 268/264.

  • There was no stock mk5 Rs there. The most stock had an airfilter system (EVOMs) and he put down some really good #s, 220s whp if I remember correct.

  • It was a special dyno day at APTuning. As far as accuracy, as long as I use a similar setup for all my changes, then the consistency will be accurate.

Either way, it was a great event with some great memories!

  • Just got my schrick cams in and I already have the tune, can't wait to dyno, those are some good numbers you laid down. I think the best MKV R32 that I've seen NA.

  • Hey im considering these for my UG MKV r32. Who did you get it tuned by? and how much did the install cost. Thanks

  • Nice result and lovely car! What kind of power did other stock mk5 R's get? How did the cams affect your low down power/torque..did it shift it more higher up the rev range? I'm toying with the Shrick cams but wasn't sure whether 264/260 cams or the 268 cams were the way to go.

  • Can you make a video when is your engine in idle ??

Would like to hear the cams :-)))

  • Fantastic results :-))

Why did you get it rolled on a 2WD rollers ???

That isn't going to be as acurate as we would wish, what you think ???
