I know I know, not country...but it's still a great song. I'm trying to play/sing it the way Daughtry does it on his acoustic version (which is awesome). Thought I'd put this one up since I already had the guitar tuned half a step down. I think this one along with "Every Rose Has It's Thorn" could make a sweet little medley...? Pretty much identical guitar playing anyways. hmmm...

Yes pretty much G and cadd9 back and fourth in the verses, then goes to Em, D, Cadd9 before the chorus. Those are the only chords

It's actually played in E flat tuning (half a step down). That's what I did here

Just started learning guitar and your cover came up on a search. Your playing is great and I was finally able to pick out the strumming pattern off of it. I have always thought I was coordinated but when it comes to playing and singing at the same time...I suck!!!

This is not standard right? my guitar doesn't sound the same and is tunned in D, so is tunned 1/2 step down, you don't say that in the video...
