After two quick flights dialing it in, I am glad to say all that work paid off! The flaps are very effective making for some nice STOL landings and the new ailerons feel just as good as they did with the original single-servo thin ailerons. The landing gear and tailwheel steering was flawless as well. I am now ready for some towin'!

Specs:

Motor: Hobbypartz Monster Power 32
ESC: Turnigy 60A Plush
BEC: Castle Creations 10A spliced into the ESC's input connectors
Servos: Futaba S3003 standards in the fuse and wings and an HS-82MG on the tail-wheel servo.
Battery: Rhino 4S 4900 30C mah and another Moxie 4S 5000 mah 25C

Filmed/flown at Marymoor R/C Club/park/field in Redmond, WA.

Enjoy!

  • Good flyin!, One thing i hate when i fly in cold weather is i loose the feeling in my thumbs and its hard to feel the sticks on the radio. i live in Canada and right now its 2 degrees...

  • @awsem1o1 Thanks! Yes I know what you mean, and I can't stand wearing gloves no matter how thin on the sticks because it feels like my movment is restricted. Of course at 2 degrees I don't think the batterys would last long enough to taxi to the runway lol

  • @E744763Productions its canada eh! i think the degres here are in Celsius are yours are in Fahrenheit, im not to sure

  • @awsem1o1 I think we should all be in Celsius (but what are the chances fo that hapening lol). I thought you meant 2 degrees fahrenheit which is -17 celsius and 35 fahrenheit is 2 celsius haha

  • windmill the prop.....

  • @emoore1978 The runway is a good 300 feet long and I conserve a considerable amount of power by shutting the motor off when I haven't even started my base leg. If I want to turn it on for a shorter runway I could but the flaps are plenty good for now.
