Short Biografie:
The ambassador for Rumanian gipsy music in Western Europe he came to the Netherlands in 1931 with his father orchestra.
He was Born on the first of august in the 1909 in Braïlla Rumania.
He plaid on the age of 7 years old for the Tsaar Nicolas of Rusia in 1916
Lather he studied on the Conservatoria of Berlin, afther that he went with his father en whole familie tot the Netherlands in 1931 where he studied at the conservatorium of the Hague, in 1935 his father died in Hotel L'Europe in Amsterdam and he had to take care of his mother brothers and sisters, he wanted to be a Concert Meister in Classical music but he had to stop his studie and took over his father Orchestra to take care of his familie.
Played for manny Royals and High Society in Europa in the 60's he bought his first restaurant in The Hague afther that he worked ad the Radio in Hilversum in 1974 He moved to Rijswijk where he staid until 1997.
He had two more restaurants in The Hague and played on manny more party's in the Netherlands in the early 80's he got a decoration from the Dutch Queen Juliana for his performance as musician and as Ambassador for the Rumanian Gipsy music in Europe he got the Knight of the Orange decoration and was very proud that he got that.
Gregor Serban Sr played the violin to until went sick and could not play anymore, he died afther a very short sick bed ( 1 month) ad the age of 88 years old on december the 12th in Delft.
