  • hate the turk talking in the background.. cant really hear what shes saying

  • what you saw is not the ice shelf but the parts after the calving line. after the glacier reach the sea with no ground supporting the thick ice and the warmer water melting the ice it cracks and break away. think of it like glass. when it cracks it does look orthogonal.
