I read the entire book today, and this doesn't fit at all. Kyle/Adrian is still attractive as a beast, Kendra and Linda are both beautiful, it doesn't fit at all

@nh0kgink His 'beast' look is actually alright, isn't it? Certainly doesn't make sense why his dad would keep him isolated from everyone and go to the trouble of hiring a BLIND tutor because of it. I really wish they had gone with the book version of his transformation - fangs, fur, claws and all. They should have trusted their audience to still watch even if Alex Pettyfer was unrecognisable under it - that's what the message is supposed to be all about, right?

If they would've wanted to really make a movie (or a book, I know it's based on a novel) that's different and makes you think about the subject. They should've made him lose all his money along with his looks. And he should've fallen in love with a regular looking girl instead of a beauty queen, maybe even an "ugly" girl. Just saying...
