After this opening ceremony,Juan Antonio Samarank, as a president of the Olympic games comitee, said: "From now on, all the big events should be based on this concept". And Greece followed that phrase for the Olympic games of 2004

This video shows exactly the soul of the Greek people. In the begining music is slow and in minor.. Movements are on the same pattern. Dancers are units and not a whole ..Very human and earthy..Then the scenery changes into a volcano where the dancers are united , and they emit a lava of sentiment and power..And though the sound is still in minor, movements are in major..

Τέτοια βιντεάκια μας κάνουν όλους μας πραγματικά υπερήφανους. Κοιτάχτε τι πράγματα μπορούμε να κάνουμε! Γιατί πολύ απλά έχουμε να δείξουμε πράγματα. Έχουμε ιστορία. Σήμερα είδα το βίντεο για πρώτη φορά, και μπορώ να πω ότι είναι από τα ανατριχιαστικότερα και πιο δυνατά που έχω δει!! Οι Πόντιοι κουβαλάμε την Ελλάδα και την Ελληνική κουλτούρα ανά τους αιώνες ατόφια.

Γιώργος Αμαραντίδης (Σιμούλτς ή Σιμουλίκας) και Καλιοντζίδης Μιχάλης, από τους πιο παραδοσιακούς μουσικούς.
