I just heard about that. Such sad news.. they had their dreams of going to college taken away from them.

Good teachers are people who teach intellect as well as passion, emotion, and encouragement. There is no room for petty, "I'm just here to collect my paycheck" attitudes for teachers here in the U.S.

North Lawndale seems to have such model teachers to change their students attitudes towards learning and reaching their goals.
