This is the "Good" Ending. There are also 3 alternate "Bad" endings which i'm working on to upload very soon. Iv'e had to make an edit on the credits to get it under the maximum 11 mins. You're not missing anything though! It's just the same stuff for the foreign versions of the game.

  • Hmm, I think I prefer the first 4 better.

I liked that they brought back the old click-look movements but why did they have to change the characters to computer animated? Putting real-life sequences in an animated world used to be SO cool. But what's with this? It looks like a downgrade to me.

  • I REALLY dont like how they took out the live actors.

  • I was always bothered to see this called Myst 5. It's not a true end to the original series. It's more of an end to Uru.

  • For some reason, my game cuts out at the Good ending, after she says "The least as greatest." That didn't happen before.

  • @schwarzfalk it''s not a plothole. Yeesha had good intentions but became delusional over time due the grower prophecy. like Escher wanted to restore the D'ni but grew insane too.

if you give either one the tablet they use it selfishly.

the right answer is to drop the tablet. because when someone has absoulte power, it corrupts them. so the player has to realise NONE should have that power.

and dropping the tablet frees the Bahro, who were an artifact of previous corruption.

  • HUGE plothole : why didn't Yeesha simply tell him to drop the tablet ?

  • in my opinion 4 is the true last game in the Myst series this game was pure crap not just because of the graphics but because of the story made no sense at all i think it would've been better to end with myst iv revelation and leave it like that as it was

  • I'd love to see another sequel to this..and another, and another...and so on.

  • @Quellepaur So true.

That reminds me of my friend. He borrowed a Myst game off me after seeing me play it but didn't like it. A year later he borrwed Myst 5. I came to his place a few days later and he had a bunch of papers on his table with crap written all over it, and told me he went to sleep thinking about a puzzle and when he woke up the puzzle clicked mentally and it felt so rewarding.

I was like fuck yeah, he gets it. He is now a Myst fan. lol.

  • @zaelie Agreed. Riven is my absolute favorite of the series. The puzzles were enough that you actually had to stop and think. I miss games that sometimes required a pen a paper just to figure it out and reach the end. Somehow, I actually felt smarter upon completion of the journey.

  • @ 6:03 you can tell they're like... "oh yeaa big boy... we're gonna rape ya.."

  • @Shikomaru136 well i agree but then again they knew that the mainstream audience wouldnt be used to this new myst tittle
