Although the fact that a nationalist party has won the last 2 elections, the last one in a landslide, means that i'm sure a few can be persuaded. Back in the real world however, the de jure anthem of Scotland that has been imposed on us is god save the queen. But the de facto national anthem is Flower of Scotland. For example i'm 36 and, since i left the BB, have NEVER been made to sing gstq at any event. And btw the point is that YOU are the small province that shares a flag AND a national anthem with England so who's the sadder?

Scotland is Protestant lol....likewise England, Wales and Northern Ireland are also all majority Protestant nations. This has nothing to do with religion.

We are only a small part of Ireland....you don't have to be a genius to work that out. Just pick up a map and you'll see Northern Ireland only makes up 6 countries on the island....therefore yes were a small part of Ireland haha lol

God Save The Queen is the national anthem of the entire United Kingdom including Scotland and Wales.

However for sporting events Rugby, Football team Scotland and Wales decided to introduce their own individual anthems. England and Northern Ireland decided to keep the original anthem.

This has nothing to do with England...its the UNITED KINGDOMS anthem not Englands lol....you really need to read up on your own country haha

Not an English flag....clearly you haven't a clue about anything if you don't even know the flag of Northern Ireland the very team Scotland was playing LOL LOL

To be honest the Scots were great, alot of partying and drinking in the bars. It was a minority of Celtic fans among the Scots supporters who booed the national anthem etc. Alot of Scottish came to us afterwards and even apologised on their behalf.
