These are some photos I took at the ribbon-cutting festivities on Sunday, July 12th at the beautiful new library in Bonner Springs, which is in Wyandotte County, Kansas. My mom lives in Bonner Springs, so we have been watching the building's progress all along the way...it was fabulous to see how excited everyone was to see inside their new library and to also see how truly impressed everybody was, once they were able to walk around, touch the books and feel proud. Truly inspriational--bravo to everybody who worked so hard to make sure the library was pretty and perfect on the very first day!

I can't believe I found this video and it's about time Bonner got a new library :)
I went to high school in Bonner Springs and lived on Cornell.
