  • Is there some album released of this exact concert?

  • Dolphy is a madman. Byard is a genius. Mingus is a mastermind.

  • @ArtD42 hear him talking to himself? i love it too man

  • hahaha eric gets mad when the band comes back in

  • Mingus has shed the jacket as he is ready to work it !

  • @preachingsaxplayer hey that interview is incredible thanks for doing that.

  • Eric's dad built him a practice house in his back yard in LA. I had the opportunity to interview his parents sometime ago. They shared a lot with me about Eric's life & music. Eric was a very disciplined child and musician.

  • What's sad is that Eric Dolphy would be dead just a few months later. I bet he stayed there in Europe while Mingus and everyone else headed back to the States. Absolutely tragic. What a loss to music and the world...

  • Dolphy sounds like nobody but Dolphy. What a unique voice.

  • what's the date on this?
