YsVI Ark of Napishtim Opening

This is the Anime opening to the game YsVI Ark of Napishtim for Japanese PC. This game is out on the PS2 here in America, but this opening was replaced with a CG opening with voice acting (which I find horrible in most cases...). The only way to see this opening is to use a cheat code in the game.

I ripped the opening movie straight from the PC files from the original game. I then encoded the ogg file of the music into the best mp3 quaility. From there, I synced the two together in Windows Movie Maker saving it in the highest quality possible. What you see here is what you would see if you were to play the actual PC game (ignoring with YouTube does to it). The only difference is the game plays the opening in a widescreen format while this is in a 4:3 format. I hope you enjoy. :)

Only problem with it is that there is like a minute after the song of blank space for some reason.

for some reason the cheat system on my game didn't work...i imputed the system like it said to and i didn't unlock this opening...

@DisasterGundam Honestly, I don't know how to help you there. As stated in the video description, I ripped this straight from the PC version. I only played the PS2 version on a rental (which lead me to getting the PC version).

@bobthydead hmmm i see, does the PC version differ in any way to the game ver. (like scenes in animation) or is it mostly the same?

@DisasterGundam Its pretty much the same gameplay and storyline. The only major difference is the graphics used. Look up some screenshots and you will see what I mean.

@TayyabZERO The first part is called Ancient Books of Ys and the second was Ys 2: Castle in the Heavens. Pretty sure all 11 episodes are on Youtube here, but it's been a while since I watched them.

I could understand replacing the intro of Rockman X4 because it had Japanese-language singing, but this track in this here intro is totally instrumental. Replacing it just makes no sense.
