Don't use the Iscar Sumo Tec grades for turning aluminum. I would recommend you try their IC20 (its uncoated). It would be a waste of money to use a coated grade for aluminum. I would also recommend you try a CCGT-AS / AF insert instead of a CNMG you will get much better performance when turning.

Quite well actually, especially with very hard grades. I used Teflon coated tooling like this a few times in school and it made a big difference in tool life.
