@ grumpy, saved you some time, and looked up , because you seems to me a product of public schooling. Here it is ,read it slowly it may help you : When you are fishing for rockfish or lingcod or you have rockfish or lingcod aboard your boat, you can only use one line with no more than two hooks.

@matatojani1 Your ignorance I can tolerate, your knife-job on English, grammar, sentence structure and punctuation I fully understand isn't your fault. Yet your blind arrogance must be addressed. In my vidio, one can clearly tell we are headed west in the early morning as the rising sun is at our back and low on the horizon. Well before the island we found floating kelp in 1200' deep water. We caught our own bait on 5 hook bait rigs just under the surface of the water..FOOL !

@matatojani1 Where did you go you wonderful product of higher education? Question, is there a mill or factory that produces brain-washed robots like yourself ? There seems to be lots and lots of your kind roaming around these days.....hell....there's even one in the White House.

@ Grumpy, just copy the regulation you mentioned that allows you to use that many hooks in CA waters for ling cod or any other cod fishing. You may read a booklet, but it won't grantee that one FULLY comprehend and understand its content

@matatojani1 I strongly suggest you read the California Dept of Fish and Game regulations handbook before you go anywhere near waters that hold fish. I also suggest you attend a couple classes on punctuation and capitalization before you read the handbook, it's some pretty heavy reading.
