  • I think this is a computer generated visualiseation of a self catalysing, oscillating reaction. under most circumstances the, whole thing changes colour uniformly, but in special cases the reaction forms nice spiral pattens (see atkins physical chemistry or covenney and highfield's boooks for better explaination). this is also simmilar to the behavior of slime mould aggrogates (if you are interested)XX

    This is a more simplified cellular automata model that gives results that sort of look like real life BZ reactions in a shallow petri dish with certain chemicals.

  • I get a similar pattern when i quickly stand up and take a deep breath. With flashes and wavy movement...

    but this is amazing.

  • This is exactly my type when i tried to get up from my bed sometimes i see these and sometimes i almost fall down losing my control lol.

  • It reminds me of the same thing. Looks indeed similar to migraine flashes.
