Hmm.. Does ArmA 2 have night vision? You know. When you leave your eyes open for like 15 minutes in the night and you can see a lot better.

Cool, how long does it take your character to get used to the night?

do you mean night vision or night gogle?

it´s an iris effect if you change from light to dark scenes. Same at day if you look into the sun and after that you look to normal enviroment.

it take some seconds (maybe 5 or 10) if you change from NVGoogles or a light scene into dark night. First you´ll see nothing, than your iris is open up and you can see something more.

Note that this is the only game (at least I know of) that actually models the loss of human's ability to see colors in insufficient lighting!
