Just some showcasing of a very small selection of the many high notes and melodies by clean power metal singer ZP Theart, previously of the band Dragonforce.
Since he does so many lower fifth octave notes in so many of their songs, I just stuck to a few standout examples and personal favourites.

1. (0:00) An extended C#5 at the end of Strike of the Ninja.
2. (0:11) Repeated C#5s from My Spirit Will Go On, topping out on a short high E5.
3. (0:33) Some repeated D5s in Disciples of Babylon.
4. (0:53) A melody topping out on an E5 in the chorus of Fields of Despair.
5. (1:18) D5 starting the melody, then an extended D5-E5 bend at the end in Valley of the Damned.
6. (1:45) A high melody that hit some D5s, then up to E5 after the modulation (2:05) in Lost Souls in Endless Time.
7. (2:30) A melody topping out on Eb5, and then F5 after the modulation (2:39) in Above the Winter Moonlight
8. (3:06) D5s at the start, then some wailings that hit F5s at the end of Black Fire.
9. (3:23) A harmony hitting B4, Eb5, and F#5 in Fury of the Storm.

Rumour has it that he can scream curse words in the elusive G7, but that is yet to be documented.

    1. he's not with dragonforce anymore D:

2.DRAGONFORCE IS ONE OF THE BEST ROCK BANDS EVER.

(P.S.) The secret is in their hair.

  • It's sad that once ZP left some people realize how good he actually was. He was the main reason to why I liked Dragonforce.

  • @Codude180219 he did one yell that mightve sounded harder but he CANNOT sing like ZP sounds like a bruce dickinson/ sebastian bach hybrid of a poseur

  • @KazeKage572 zp was sooo much better than mark

  • He's better that the .... I DONT know.... new one.

  • What about the end of Operation Ground and Pound, that's gotta be way up there.

  • At the very end of the video, in the opening for Fury of the Storm, right at the end of the harmonies, they each go up a half step for an eighth note or so, then down.

  • @Codude180219 I dunno about that, ZP at his best is higher i believe
