This is a great talk. I am an Assistant Principal in a troubled high school. I can attest to the importance of many of the points made by the speaker. Unfortunately, I can say for certain that far too many education professionals are stakehoders in the marginality of their schools -- highly reluctant to put students on the same plane as the teacher's union...Certainly not above it.
