I did read in his autobiography that he was not quite as fond of Kris Kristoffersen. But he did like Willie and Johnny Cash okay. I imagine there was a lot of personal pride when you have that many strong personalities singing together.

@In2TheNiteLife If you were really a huge fan, you would know that Waylon loved Willie to death,they were best friends, even till the day Waylon passed on. And they woujld always poke fun at each other in their concerts. ;)

Hey, relax man! Willie and Waylon were very close, and they used to tease each other. As Waylon put it in his autobiography;"I'm one of few that can tease Willie about his singing", or something like that. Waylon didn't put Willie down, they were very good friends.
