Would this be the same concept for Marine OCS as well? And I have a question. On line 76, 89, the grid square was to the left. How come 76, 90 was to the right? Thanks

@jrlk2005 It should be the same across all services as everyone generally uses MGRS when on land. However, there are many options out there. I am sure if you ask they will tell you as they do not want people to fail. Also the map I used is a little junky so I will look at it. But normally the lines are numbered horizontally and vertically.

@Jaimie322 You using the military system then? Hands on really does make a difference. Practice helps to take that edge off. The vid here just shows some easy tips to keep you on track. There are many other options out there. I just tried to keep it as simple as possible. Let me know if you need more help.

I bought the same type of protractor you use in the video and struggled in trying to understand how it worked (novice). After viewing your video multiple times I finally understand. Thank you so much!

@Mortaxe Glad to hear it. We just ran through a test of land navigation. All but one of our guys made it.
