DW4XL and DW5XL add a 'Legend Mode' to the base game. In DW4XL, each character has a unique stage that you can play through. In DW5XL, its the same deal, but many characters share stages. DW3XL adds Musou Modes for the Others characters minus Fu Xi and Nu Wa.
