The song was written by Cheetah Chrome when he was in Rocket from the Tombs and it was on Cheetah's album with the Dead Boys called "Young, Loud & Snotty" from 1977

Sonic Reducer was written by Cheetah Chrome when he was in Rocket from the Tombs and it was on Cheetah's album with the Dead Boys called "Young, Loud & Snotty" from 1977. It was widely covered, but is not a Buzzcocks song. All the same, thanks for posting. The Batusis gigs on the east coast were great!

Thanks for posting, but I think some of the details in the info box above are wrong. AFAIK, this song isn't a Buzzcocks cover--it was co-written by Cheetah Chrome when he was in RftT. The first widely available version was by a later Chrome band called the Dead Boys.
