In this issue of ENLITA.com Newsletter, Dr. Pearsall talks about how her patients and she lost weight just by cutting wheat out of their diets and why wheat intolerance is so widespread.
Thanks for posting this...I cut out wheat a month ago because I had bad cystic acne, I'm completely acne free after 18 years. And I lost 5 lbs after a month..and I'm already a thin guy. This video is 100% correct.
There are several things that may be going here. 1) You may be "allergic" to wheat and/or be gluten intolerant. Your body can react to this by releasing feel good hormones, so you seem to get "high." This can perpetuate the craving for these foods that your body really can't tolerate. 2) You may be a carb type (in metabolic typing), so you do actually need more carbs that protein or combo types in order to feel satisfied. Visit the youtube channel called Underground Wellness for more info.
Drink Raw Milk: "heat [pasteurization] alters milk's amino acids lysine and tyrosine, making the whole complex of proteins less available; it promotes rancidity of unsaturated fatty acids and destruction of vitamins" "Modern pasteurized milk devoid of its enzyme content, puts an enormous strain on the body's digestive mechanism." p. 34 & 35 of Nourishing Traditions by Sally Fallon.
Properly and happily raised animal products. Truly cage free chicken and eggs. Grass fed beef. Talk to the farmers and ranchers. Happy animals = healthy food. But if you're totally against it, you'll be challenged, not much to eat . . . Look into the Weston A Price foundation (search for the website).
I am cutting weight for a tournament and for the last 3 months have not eaten any breads. I have eaten carbs but specifically not any breads. I also cut out any fast foods, chocolate, soft drinks, baked goods etc. I have went from 192 to 160. 32 pounds gone.
Also, nobody ever says this:
your stomach gets used to the amount of food you eat, thus eat much less for 2 wks and after that you'll be full on less and that is the biggest thing that helped me.
what about what Indian's call "atta" wholemeal flour. The flour we make Indian roti with. (yea wheat is vile)
