I saw them perform this live in 1979 and they were as tight live as in the studio. I prefer this cover FAR more than the original!!

I remember this version very well, but I hadn't heard it in 30 years! This was the first version of the song I had ever heard, being only 17 and having not discovered the history of rock, yet. A few years later, a friend of mine turned me on to Peter Green and Fleetwood Mac's "Then Play On" album, and I was surprised to hear the original version. At that time, I preferred the Rockets' version. That is no longer true, but it sure was nice to hear it again. Thanks!

I wish Minneapolis and St. Paul had a great blues rock band during the late 60's and 70's. We had to wait until the 80's with The Replacements and Prince.
