Thanks for posting and thanks for the memories from our national treasure, Bob Hope.

Bob Hope was not required to do these military shows. He was already very rich and popular as an exceptional comedian and entertainer. What he learned just before WW2, that the USA servicemen and women were the most grateful audiences of all, impressed him so much that he became one of them, in the best way that he knew how to help them. He put himself at risk and sacrificed his personal time out of love for the troops. For his worldwide efforts, for his honor, God allowed Hope to live to 100.

One of the greatest Americans who ever lived. Sadly todays stars are too selfish and self serving to ever do anything like this. God Bless Bob Hope

Funny. What they used to stop wars for.

This video is what American entertainment used to be. It also is how proud the were of out troops who served. To this day, liberals still hate them and what they represented. This is when show business was classy, laughs could be attained without mean-spirited edginess. Bob Hope is what American pride was all about. You never hear of him and his impact on American goodness. It has been replaced by liberalism. You cannot even say "Merry Christmas" anymore. May God bless Bob Hope forever.

I only saw Bob Hope go over us at about 3.000 feet. We had 2 guys get to see Bob and they were in way back of the audience. We drew numbers to see who got to go into base camp and I never won Never the less, Bob was the best. The troopers today don't know what he meant to all us in the bush.
