PBR Wi-Fi Battle 35: Seviper Showdown and Bronzong's Internal Conflict

One day, bronzong asked itself "2B OR NOT 2B", and since its little metal brain could not solve the problem it had presented itself with, it guessed and decided the answer was "NOT 2B," then became determined to kill itself.
Before it could die, though, its old pal Lapras froze it so it wouldn't end up killing itself. This confused it even more when it thawed out, though, and it wanted to kill itself again.

We both brought out our sevipers and out normal types at the start of the match, and both of our sevipers used the same move on the same turn. I thought that was pretty funny. I love seviper, he was the first pokemon I came up with for this team. Staraptor was built around him and the others came later, but Seviper's a little frailer than he should be.
At the beginning of the battle, I sort of got an advantage when staraptor tailwinded but I lost it shortly afterward. Bronzong was confused for most of the match (I don't know why but bronzong is actually a magnet for confusion, it seems to happen to him more than any other pokemon. Bronzong is also a magnet for flinch: if he can flinch, he will). Bronzong is pretty useless in this match; he does absolutely nothing useful for 6 consecutive turns. How do you freeze steel anyway? Umbreon kept getting megahorned so it couldn't really do much either. I misclicked once and hit lapras with psychic instead of Seaking, which may or may not have changed the outcome of things, since Bronzong is actually a slightly better attacker than Umbreon.
Anyway, I thought the pass name looked familiar, darkdragoon1000 informed me soon after this match that I had battled him. His team is pretty cool, check out his account:

He was the only guy I battled on random wi-fi that day who packed hypnosis but was decent enough not to break sleep clause. I battled two people that day who DID break sleep clause, and they were both OU tier worshippers, what a surprise (well actually, there was a third one, but he was a darkrai abusing noob)...
I gave up in the end because I saw no possible way of winning, I couldn't 2HKO seaking and he'd just kill me; in fact, chances are, Bronzong wouldn't have attacked anything not named Bronzong the next turn.
Something went wrong with the audio in the middle of the match, sorry about that. It only lasts one turn, though. I also accidentally cut out the part where seaking is sent out.

Bronzong is a great pokémon - slow, but it's a MASSIVE wall. I bet if it wasn't for that Confuse Ray you would have won.

Your very lucky to be facing these sort of opponents! I have yet to encounter a team that's not OU or Uber for that matter. This match was very entertaining to watch. You did very well regardless of the result ;-}
