This is a great speech! I also stutter and will be entering a graduate program soon to become a speech-language pathologist. I plan to research stuttering and help other people like us. Great video!! :)

Well done! I grew up with a stuttering issue since early grade school. I had countless speech therapy sessions, endured the struggle of trying to fit in at school, getting teased, and can relate to most everything you shared. I even did bio-feedback to try and teach myself to relax. Things are much better now. I still do stutter on occasion, but I don't have the same fear I used to have. God has been good to me. My experience has helped me be a more compassionate person. Bless you man!

I wanted to add that i don't stutter as much as i used to. Because once i got to highschool it seemed to slowly fade away. My confidence has gone up so much since then that I enlsited in the Air National Guard and I will begin my training on March 29th of this year.

dude i wish i had your courage when i was in middle school. i was so ashamed to read out loud in my reading classes let alone even speak. But i just want to say that I admire your courage to get up to that podium and willingly speak in front of your class.

Great speech...You should be proud of yourself! There are good therapies out there. For example, a great therapy can be found on naturaltherapyforstuttering. -c-o-m.
Medications can be helpful as well. In these days, there is a lot that can be done to this condition.
Great speech - you should be so proud. I am a person who stutters and I related to everything you said. Keep up the great speech and your wonderful attitude. It is so important that the public is educated about stuttering. I applaud you!
