Eye Contact is the first piece of the ShadowBox series of interactive displays with a built-in computerized tracking system. This piece shows eight hundred simultaneous videos of people lying down, resting. As soon as a public member is detected his or her presence triggers the miniature video portraits to wake up: hundreds of people simultaneously turn to look at the visitor directly, creating an uncanny experience that questions who is the observer and who is the observed. This piece is derived from the public art project "Under Scan" premiered in England in 2005. Higher resolution version available at http://www.lozano-hemmer.com
ShadowBox series: Stemming from Lozano-Hemmer's interest in portraiture, surveillance and phantasmagoria, ShadowBoxes are autonomous artworks but often are used as "platforms" or "digital sketches" for larger installations or environments.
Take a look at my video production. You will find all kinds of interesting between heaven and earth! You will not be disappointed!

Did you use flash for the programming? I'm working on my end of year project and am looking at using motion sensors with flash and was wondering how difficult the codes are?
Any advice would very much appreciated.
