Sir, with all due respect--it is not a CASA that will make a final determination as to whether or not a child is removed. It is a judge. Furthermore, a CASA is not assigned to a case unless a judge has already ruled that abuse or neglect has occurred. The best course of action is to review your state's laws and statutes regarding how a judge makes a final determination and talk to an attorney. As for job security, most CASA's are trained volunteers! No real threat to a job for them. Best wishes.

I'm sorry, but I've seen Casa lie for CSB just to help them make a case for reasons of job security. It took them 7 years, but after 7 of sticking with my girlfriend who is a great mother, they were able to take her children because her gas got cut off. She immediately pay it but was told it would a couple of days, but Casa stepped in and said, "we now have a reason", and gave her kids to a father who denied a couple of the younger kids and never paid child support.
