  • Hi there I'm very interested in learning miao dao. Do you think it is possible to learn this directly from Master Zhou when I'm in Tian Jin.

  • @raogongfu Yes. Master Zhou is a one on one kind of teacher. So far, everyone of us who learned Miao-Dao learned it directly from master Zhou

  • @jingang Thanks for your reply. Are there any prerequisites that are required (e.g. Baji forms etc). I will be back to Tianjin this August and would be really keen to learn. But my time there is only about 1 month. Do you think it is possible to learn some basics? By the way are you in Tianjin atm?

  • @raogongfu At the moment I'm not in Tianjin. One can learn the Miao dao form in a month but it takes time to master it's body method. If you have any Pigua background it would be very helpful and if not any other martial arts background is also good. If you have no MA background than it would be difficult but at least you can learn the basics.

  • his voice sounds funny!

  • @jingang I often practice my Bagua Dao using a Miao sabre; I like the weight of it, as opposed to the wusho steel the large bagua sword is made of.

  • I would love to study with Master Zhou to improve my baji/piqua, but china is not in my future. are any of his students in the eastern u.s.a. ?
