Hi there! How I managed to both get tickets to the show, and also sneak into the front row when I got there, still eludes me. Nonetheless, the AIC concert in NYC was amazing: Perfect, intimate setting, and the crowd was really into it. They played most of their hits and a couple of songs from the new album. I wasn't planning on recording this, but Jerry stepped right in front of me, and it just called for it. If there was one song dedicated to Layne, this was probably it....enjoy!

  • I like a lead guitarist that knows when to slow down and let notes sing.

  • Jerry is a wild guitarist. Has been a favourite for years, but as of lately, especially with the release of "Black Gives Way To Blue", I can't stop listening and trying to figure out he is playing some parts.

  • I love this especially on a strat...is that a G&L he's playing here? Very cool. Jerry is one of the best modern guitarist/singer/songwriters. I consider him this generation's Jimmy Page.

  • fucking love jerry !!!!

  • This honestly like one of greatest live versions for this solo, I could listen to it any day, any time. I love Jerry Cantrell so much! <3 He's just an amazing musician, in any way.

  • feel blessed to have been there and up front as well... what a magical night...thanks a lot for recording and posting

  • Anyone think they can tab this one out? :)

  • God I would give anything to be that close at an AIC show

  • i would just about sell my soul just to get to jam with him for like two hours. that would be unforgettable. i still miss layne though. he completed jerry's talent absolutely. he's gotten alot better since 2002. holy crap. better than the first time i touched a woman. :)
