You think the UAE hasn't thought of that. That is why there is massive construction in the UAE mainly inthe Emirates of Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Dubai's profits from tourism is 97% of that's Emirates economy. With more than 6M tourists annually (2005) and 20M by 2012 the UAE don't need no oil and yet they will still have it. UAE is here to stay bigtime!

@ vickynhl911 not really...... i been to Toronto, New York, Boston, Montreal, Chicago, Houstan, and Miami and all of them have one thing that ruins the cities..... its they are REALLY dirty and lops of hobbo's on the streets..... but Dubai is doing its best to keep the city cleaner than all the other cities

2 dirhams is too much for a toll gate fee. Imagine how many hundreds of thousands of vehicles are charged the moment u pass thru these gates? One in al garhoud, al maktoum, al safa and when u get near the MOE u pay another 1. waaaaaa!!! I pass thru shinganga tunnel and jumeira road instead. hehe
