Schindler 300A & Unknown Traction Elevator at Sears in Cross County Shopping Center in Yonkers, NY

These were really pathetic. They bumped, jolted, slipped and any other feature of a death trap is found in here. Only the buttons and controllers were replaced. I believe the motors are original. It was very weird to see them both on different controllers. That is a major reason why the act the way they do, people press all of the buttons (up and down on both panels) and wait for whichever one comes first. This makes them move when they don't need to, causing wear and tear- especially aging. Notice how I got busted not once, but TWICE! The woman in the elevator just made sure I didn't take pictures of the store, so she couldn't care less, and the man at the escalator just asked me to stop filming, in the most nicest way possible. He didn't even kick me out! This store was also extremely crowded, so I got the elevators at a good time. Enjoy!
