  • You might be thinking 'huh, wazzat? Square, great music and a text adventure?'

This pretty obscure game is a side-story to Chrono Trigger, and served as an inspiration to Chrono Cross. In fact, the music was composed by the same dude who did those two games, and even reused some themes from RD in Chrono Cross.

So, if you were wondering why this was so awesome, yet so completely unknown at the same time, there you go.

  • have you don the music of double dragon yet?

  • Yeah, all 3 NES games, just search my vids and you'll find 'em.

  • @InsertAPseudoHere Actually many songs where remixed in Chrono Cross.

  • This music is in Chrono Cross as well as Radical Dreamers is a prequel to it.

  • Radical Dreamers is like Samurai Champloo.

    Incredible for its music

  • These musics sound familiar ... Didn't they appear in other (Squaresoft or not) games with some little changes ?

  • These musics sound familiar ... Didn't they appear in other Square(soft) games ?

  • Oh yeah that's Yasunori Mitsuda alright :)

  • as much of a fan of the series that i am i never p[layed this...but i see that it was obviously done in english so now i have to

  • I just recently finished this game, and all I can say is WOW. I never knew that there was a Chrono Trigger sequel, nor a Chrono Cross prequel/side story. This is without a doubt, the most unique game I've ever played. I love the characters. I love that Magus makes a guest appearance. Kid has a great spunky personality, and Serge is kinda goofy. Magus, is still Magus, silent and deadly. And the music is just out of this world. Once again, the SNES proves to be best sounding 16 bit console ever.

  • Damn, Star Stealing Girl is in this?
