This has become my favorite lower body exercise. I love it because it is "50% off". In this picture we get the leg stress of a 450 lb back squat with 225 lbs. of back stress. The athlete pictured is former BU Terrier Colin Wilson.

I think the back is more of a limiting factor than the legs in squatting.

  • Actually he played at Boston University. Currently with the Nashville Predators.

  • It's so much more complicated than that. Do a search for a t-nation article called Build Bigger Legs One Leg at a Time.

  • The evidence indicates it would hit the legs harder. Research bilateral deficit.

  • The info said that this dude was an athlete at Boston College, but it didnt say what sport he played. Judging by his leg strength, i gotta say hes probably a hockey player.

  • Just do the normal squats... lol'ed

  • woah beast status

  • @fitstrong1 I quit reading or listening to Poliquin years ago. He's too far out there. He's became a joke in the real S&C world. Why does some of his methods work? Ask Victor Conte.

  • So you are really trying to tell me that this hits his legs as hard as a 450lb squat would?

    Fuck you doin... Bullshttin

  • @WayOfTheBastard You don't

  • What happens if you need to bail?
