Are you a Stanford University campus disaster response organization? (SCERT, SU-ARES, BAT?) If so, we would like you to know about Stanford EMS!

Stanford EMS is a student-lead campus organization overseen by the Department of Public Safety and is comprised on California-credentialed Emergency Medical Technicians. Stanford EMS regularly works campus events doing event standbys, but has also has a role if a major disaster strikes Stanford Campus.

We recognize that Stanford University has a variety of valuable campus disaster response groups, such as Stanford CERT. For example, in a disaster, SCERT members will engage in many first responder activities such as search and rescue and first aid. In such a situation, Stanford EMS will work with SCERT by providing medical response capabilities.

We encourage other campus disaster groups to learn more about Stanford EMS, and to contact us for more information about our program. Thanks for helping keeping Stanford prepared for the unexpected!
