Gary started performing at AirShows and entertaining audiences with his 1942 PT-17 Stearman in 2002. The show highlights Garys skills as a professional aerobatic pilot. The way he performs in the Stearman as some spectators describe, its like ballet in the air. The Stearman is large and loud, yet beautiful and graceful at the same time. Garys performance in the Stearman is filled with giant barnstormer loops, hammerhead turns, slow rolls, a Cuban eight, inverted flight and one of his favorite maneuvers, the Outside Humpty Bump
Hi, what make the starman look differnt to the rest (ie is this a different factory model or has it been upgraded by the owner)? Because the engine is sort of more covered in (is it still a radial)?, the wheels have those covers. Sorry I don't know a lot but i think thsi one looks fantastic! great flying and nice paint job also!

@fxgtz Yes, this stearman has been upgraded and has a big 450hp motor up under that cowling. Four ailerons, wheel pants, better prop and the list goes on. More info can be found about the plane and pilot here garyrowervintageairshows
