How I created this sound (specs): Oscillator 1: Supersaw wave /Detune : 60 Mix: 37 Cutoff Frequency = 0 Resonance = 0. Osc 2: Sawtooth wave. Detune Range : 0. No Sync. Fine/Wide (Semitone Detune): +17 /OSC Common: OSC Balance: 0 LFO1 Depth: 0 /X-Mod Depth: 70 /Env Depth: 0 Ring knob on / OSC Shift: -1OCT No portamento - No Legato Filter:-24 dB Type: LPF A: 0 D: 127 S: 127 R: 127 Key Follow: +63 Env Depth: +63 AMP: A:0 D:127 S:40 R:66 Quantize: Chorus Type: 3 Measures or OFF (3 measures sounds better) Chorus level: 127 Treble: +63 Bass: +11
Delay Type: Mono Long /Delay Time:70 /Feedback:31 /Level:69
It may not sound exactly the same as the original sound played on Enya's Roland Juno 60, but this is the closest I could get. If you apply a very slight touch of LFO from a square wave it also sounds nice.

  • Reminds of John Carpenter's film-score style. Nice.
