A) Its' a theme from Macross 7; and I think Koyastu sung badly on purpose (see Aya Hirano's rule as Konata and some of the endings)
B) The man does have a sense of humor; and decent range; though he doesn't seem to use it much, but then again his usual style fits for most of the characters. Shu, Jade, Lezard wouldn't have the same impact if voiced by some other guy.
C) It's so bad... it's awesome.
