@CaesarThaApeGod No point in arguing - we're just running in circles. We'll just have to agree to disagree. I think we can both agree that Silva AND Jones deserve respect for making the top guys in their division look like amatuers. I prefer Silva's amazing striking over Jones' wrestling based style & his flashy GSP-esque striking. Maybe it's the other way around for you. Nothing wrong with that. I'm sure we both respect every man who steps into that cage - even if we don't enjoy their style.

WW isn't weak, eventhough the champ is dominant the division still has it's elite fighters. But who is really an elite fighter at MW ? Don't get wrong the mid tear fighters are sick at MW but there are no top fighters at MW like they are in other divisions.

@CaesarThaApeGod Really? Can you find these so called quotes? Because I've never said that. Rashad will get overwhelmed & finished by Jones. He has a tremendous physical advantage over any other LHW. MW isn't a weak division - Anderson has just been making it look that way for years. GSP, too. And Jones will make the LHW division look weak. Anytime the other fighters are playing catch up with a dominate champion - the division LOOKS weak. Jones is impressive - but not as impressive as Silva.

@CaesarThaApeGod Training is not fighting - trust me, Silva would KO Machida if they fought. And Shogun would probably go down quicker than Rampage. Strikers don't fair well against Silva - especially aggressive, forward moving, slow, one dimensional strikers like Rampage & Shogun. Reguardless of how you perceive Silva's level of competition - the fact is NOBODY has done to those guys what Silva did to them. NOBODY. Is Jones' tear, so far, impressive? Yes. Is it as amazing as Silva's run? No.

@PhukAdvertisements Im not taking anything from Silva but at the same time you can't really say that Silva has been destroying top guys. I mean lets be real, the MW division easily has the fewest amount of elite fighters in the UFC. Silva is really the only 1 in his division. LHW is a more top heavy division with elite fighters, Jones is running thru the elites.
Silva would probably beat Rampage, I doubt Rua and Machida tho. Its well known that Machida owns Silva in training.

@PhukAdvertisements Jones' last 3 opponents have BIGGER names for a reason, because they are more than just tough durable guys, they were legends. Besides none of those names I can't see Jones not murdering.

@CaesarThaApeGod Somewhat true... but Jones beat the BIGGER NAMES & that doesn't necessarily equate to tougher competition. Silva has dispatched of some very tough, solid, durable opponents - with relative ease. Who else has KO'd Leben in 50 seconds? Who else has kicked Vitor's head off? Who else has beat the fuck out of Franklin, TWICE? Who else has beat the brakes off of Marquardt like that? Who else has embarrassed Griffin & Okami like that? The answers: NOBODY!
But think whatever you want.

@CaesarThaApeGod Overeem would probably KO Jones, but it could go either way... but no way in hell could he hang with Junior. Either way - it's all just speculation at this point - he's a LHW & he's tearing through the division like a LHW Anderson Silva... not in mindboggling fashion like Silva did - but he's still tearing through the division. I still don't see him hanging with the top HW's, but it's arguable.
