Awesome video! I am looking forward to practice this one during tonights sparring session.
-
Basic, but always essential and useful. Not difficult to execute either.
-
@240surfer I learned one like this one, the "gracie way" back in 1994. I had a hard time getting it to work though. It had to be done fast and in a fluid motion.
-
hey very very nice!!! THX, added to my escapes list
-
@240surfer Which traditional Gracie way would that be? When I studied with them I learned a bunch of different mount escapes including one very much like this one.
-
also with out trapping the back of the arm they can easily pull out and post no?
-
They look dark blue. meh.
-
Dont know if its GSP but those are blue pants. ypu're color blind.
-
why would the attacker not just move his knees up to high mount on the chest, bridging never works for me from there. Also the post arm would be very difficult to control from that low down his body.
-
Nice stuff I'm definently trying this in my next jiu jitsu class. Thanks for posting.
This is a great escape, thank you for the post!

Thank you, just remember to grab around the ass (a bit lower then was showed on this clip) to make sure that you really pin all his weight onto his hands, and pull his elbow in towards your head as you roll him over.
Good luck!
